FUNFAIR 2018-19
A Jamboree of apps, snaps and wraps ...
It was an evening of fun and frolic on November 3 at Digidhamaal, the NVV Fun Fair 2018-2019. Contrived around the theme of the digi world that we live in now, folks had oodles of fun at the games and refreshment stalls put up by students and parents.
There were also tattoo, photo booth, jewellery stalls and a DJ corner too for all those in the mood to just let their hair down! Meanwhile, the centre stage proved to be a magnet with students, parents and teachers swaying down the ramp in the best traditions of a fashion show! Contenders also vied with each other to secure the host of prizes that were up for grabs for the e-walkers, the most thematically relevant stall and the most innovative food item.
The carnival thus ensured that there was something of interest for everyone and so only boundless fun found a place on the school ground on Saturday evening!!
FUNFAIR 2017-18
The world was their oyster!
Vidyanians painted the town red on 13th October in the NVV Fun Fair 2017-18. Designed around the Superhero theme, the Vidyani ground was a feast for the eyes with a large number of fun and refreshment stalls put up by students and parents. Besides food and games, there were varied stalls from tattoo, face painting, selfie corner to recycled items, jewellery and DJ where all could be footloose and fancy free! While Vanish Kansara (IV B) and Hayati Devi Zhala (IV B) won the prizes for being the 'Best Dressed' boy and girl respectively, Stall no. 79 (Game – owned by Archi Patel of VII A) and Stall no. 13 (owned by Hargun Kaur- Senior KG. D) bagged the titles of the 'Best Decorated Stall' and 'Most Innovative Game' respectively. The fete surely offered unlimited fun, food and frolic to ensure that all had a whale of a time.
FUNFAIR 2016-17
The Navrachana Vidyani Vidyalaya Fun Fair had Halloween as its theme this year. So, the evening of November 26 saw the campus transform into a scene straight out of a horror flick with witches, pumpkins, vampires, ghosts and ghouls populating the School Ground. In keeping with the spirit of Halloween, stalls, stall owners and even visitors were spotted sporting shades of orange and black, the prescribed colour code for the evening. The funfest opened the portal to fun, frolic and games while foodies were absolutely spoilt for choice with an array of delicious dishes on offer at the many food stalls! There was a photo booth too for picture-happy visitors, prizes up for grabs in various categories for those who had best interpreted the electrifying theme and a DJ stall belting out foot tapping numbers for a crowd of dancers who seemed to have converted the fair ground into a huge dance floor. The numerous visitors, reluctant as they were to end the 'spooktacular' time they were having, had to be given repeated reminders at the closing time before they could be persuaded to leave the venue. Exuberance and zeal had ruled all through the day as students learnt life lessons in entrepreneurship and money-management in a fun filled way. In the end, all said in one voice that Fun Fair 2016 had gone by in a flash of fun, excitement and merrymaking and they were already waiting in anticipation for the next year's edition!!!
