A non-detention policy is favoured in classes I - V unless detention at a
particular level is advised by the subject / class teacher.
For Classes VI to IX
Student must pass in all subjects for promotion to the next higher class.
Report Card will reflect grades as well as marks.
It is imperative for a student to
secure passing grade in Art, Music, Dance, PE and activities offered.
A student will repeat the year if he fails in any of the subjects as per the norms of GSEB.
For Class XI
Promotion is granted in accordance with the GSEB norms. (Gujarat State Board norms.)
For Classes X & XII
To be eligible to appear in the Board Examination, clearing the Terminal
and the Preliminary Examination along with 80% attendance is mandatory.
Attendance : A minimum of 80% attendance is mandatory for promotion to the next class at all levels.
For Choice of Science Stream in Class XI Marks obtained in 1st and 2nd
Prelims of Std X and Board Examination will be given equal weightage as
per the decision of the School.
Note : For assessment in all classes :
conduct and discipline
regularity
participation in school activities and sports are also taken into consideration.
Evaluation System
At the end of a tough academic year in which the students put in a lot of hard work, they need to be appreciated tomotivate them to excel further.
With this in mind we are using an award system effective with a few changes from the academic year 2011-12.
For Class I-V :
Subject Proficiency Certificates will be awarded to students for securing A1 grade in a subject.
General Proficiency Certificate for Co curricular excellence is
awarded for securing A1 grade in Art and craft, Music, Dance, P.E.
(Any Two Activities) B1 grade in academics.
General Proficiency Certificate for Academic Excellence is awarded on the following criteria.

For General Proficiency the student must score the required grade points and minimum B1 in all Co-curricular Subjects.
