35 - Funafair 2011-12
Date: 7th January 2012 Circular No. VV/35/2011-12
Dear Parents,

The new dates for our Annual Fun Fair is Friday, 3rd February 2012 from 5.00 pm to 10.00 pm. The funfair is being exclusively organized by Navrachana Vidyani Vidyalaya and Navrachana Vidyani Pre- Primary and the venue is Jyoti Ground.

The theme of this year’s funfair is PATIALA EXPRESS. The Punjabi zest for life has embraced the cultures of the adopted homelands to create a vibrant Punjabi culture that intertwines the best of all cultures. In recognition of this, we would like to provide a glimpse of Punjabi culture.

We request all our guests to come dressed in hues of yellow and green, symbolic of the seasonal mustard fields of Punjab. Stalls have to be decorated in the same colours with typical Punjabi representations; e.g. tandoors, sanjha-chulha, trucks, brass utensils, rope cots, etc.

Two stalls per class is compulsory. Individual students / group of students must contact through their Class Teachers to Ms. Hema Jadhav with the stall money and book the stall without fail by the 20th January 2012. Students who are interested in booking the Stall should collect the Performa from the respective Class Teachers.

STALL DETAILS
1. The stall charges for putting up the eatables & games stalls in the Fun Fair will be Rs.600/- for students only.
2. Parents of students of junior classes may help the students in their stalls.

7. Use of gas / electric ovens will be permitted, however, no kerosene stoves will be allowed inside any stall.
8. We will try to arrange for some extra furniture on demand, which should be made while booking the stall. Last minute request for various facilities will not be entertained.

We all elders should impress upon our children that fresh and hot meals which is our staple food is the best for our growing children. I hope, in making our children form good eating habits, I shall get full help and co-operation from parents.

As always I further invite one parent representative from each section to come to school, go through the menu and recommend combinations. If feasible and possible we are always ready to accommodate constructive suggestions. The menu is prepared and put up on the website every month for all to see.

21 - SLC
Date: 10th November 2011 Circular No. VV/21/2011-12
Dear Parents,

'The Student Led Conference' is entering into its third phase which will be a further continuation of the first and second Conferences held in 2009, 2010 for the senior classes, bringing more insight into young minds. In this conference the students will be holding their own student-led conferences at Vidyani. These conferences will provide an opportunity for your child to reflect upon his/her thinking, experiences, feelings and skills for successful living. We view this as an extremely positive opportunity for these students to emphasize their strengths, acknowledge their weaknesses, and, with you in attendance, plan for their approach to the next step in their lives. Please make every effort to be a part of this conference, as attendance by the parents is important and mandatory. Listening to the conference of other children apart from your child can give you valuable insights about your own child as well. It is an opportunity to open up or improve lines of communication with your child about his/her education as well as life in general. We strongly encourage you to be a positive part of this conferencing process. To know the impact of Student Led conference done in the previous year kindly visit the website: www.navrachana.edu.in / www.tiny.cc/sparsh

Please make arrangements to pick up your wards at the allotted time.
